Gilles began his career at the French employers’ federation – the Conseil National du Patronat Français, which has become the Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF) – before taking charge of European affairs for Publicis (1994-1995). He joined Renault in 1995, where he handled the company’s public relations for eight years. In 2003, Gilles created Anthenor Public Affairs in Paris. Besides managing the firm, he leads two clubs : The Public Affairs Directors Roundtables (40 members) and the Public Affairs Directors Roundtables of Foreign Companies’ French Subsidiaries (30 members). Gilles graduated from Sciences-Po, from a law school, and from INSEAD. He is the author of Lobbying, in the Que-sais-je ? edition.
