The Future of Audiovisual and Media Club’s primary objective is to foster a multi-stakeholder dialogue on topics related to public policies concerning the audiovisual and media sectors, in response to national and European institutional developments. The club meets four to five times a year in the form of dinner debates, attended by 50 to 60 participants, including public officials (mainly parliamentarians, as well as members of the administration, ministerial offices, and regulatory authorities) and economic actors from the sector (producers, broadcasters, professional organizations and unions, advertisers, telecommunications and digital industry players, copyright societies, etc.). These gatherings contribute to collective reflection on the evolution of the audiovisual and media sectors, enabling the development of public policy proposals.

Ethics

The club operates in accordance with the provisions of the Sapin II law regarding interest representatives, the ethical rules defined by parliamentary institutions: pluralism of support, transparency of funding, fairness among members, and speech not conditioned by funding, etc. In this respect, the club’s operations rigorously follow the recommendations made by the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life (HATVP), the Ethics Officer of the National Assembly, and the Parliamentary Ethics Committee of the Senate.
