Gilles Lamarque began his career at the French employers’ federation – the Conseil National du Patronat Français, which has become the Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF) – before heading up European affairs for Publicis. In 1995 he joined Renault, where he handled the company’s governmental affairs for eight years.
In 2003, Gilles Lamarque founded Anthenor Public Affairs in Paris. He also leads two clubs of peers: the French Public Affairs Directors’ Roundtable (40 members) and the Public Affairs Directors’ Roundtable for French Subsidiaries of major foreign companies (30 members).
